Prices in my country : Alpha S : ~150 USD Logitech G Pro X: (Surround Sound): ~200 USD Stereo : ~140 USD It's all personal opinion, I have had 2x stingers, orginal cloud, cloud II, cloud alpha s, cloud revolver s and cloud mix. 1 v2. Cloud Alpha is an analog headset, so its audio output levels will mainly depend on the device that it's plugged into :) . Just commenting to show my appreciation because your equalizer setup is AMAZING. I would buy the cloud II over alpha S any day, which infact I am doing tomorrow when i return the Alpha S. The bass gets distorted heavily. Even with new headphones I still have same problem. I just got the cloud Alpha S and they sound better than cloud ll. Well ****. These razer headphones are currently on sale here in Romania(50e) while the cloud alpha ones are 80e (these were on sale 1 month ago, 50e as well). The cloud 2 comes with a nice USB sound card too. Not that bit rate matters all that much, but from my experience the cloud 2w and the cloud flights I had from before both sound just a little bit compressed when comparing directly to the alphas. There is no point in buying HyperX Cloud II when you can get a much better HyperX Alpha for the same price (at least in my country). Or check it out in the app stores HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Review Headsets In my case I did the same, chosen "High definition audio device" which enabled Audio Enhancement and it is far better then default Realtek High definition Audio, so, check the audio with other games and selecting 32 bit 44100 and "Virtual Sound" and "Loudness Equalization - Value to 3" will bring clear gaming gunshot and footsteps sound and you won't feel so heavy for alpha. I have a HyperX Cloud Alpha headset too, when I was busy doing something else I randomly heard a loud static noise coming somewhere from my setup, when I figured out it was my headset I tried turning it off and turning it back on but it didn't work, whenever audio plays on my computer, all I hear is the loud static noise. I think the problem with the driver touching the ear has been resolved by HyperX, the latest batches should include thicker earpads. Sort by: I'm currently running equalizer APO with a pre-made eq for the HyperX Cloud II's which improve the sound quality relatively well from the box, but I was wondering if there were any specifically made for the HyperX Cloud Alpha's. I'm looking at the HyperX Cloud Alpha, mainly for the higher than average impedance output, and I was recommended the G3 DAC, as it seems like a popular option on this sub. The only thing i dont like about the hyperx cloud alphas is the mic on discord . That is the only way to fix the echo issue afaik. You can get the cloud 2 wireless for the above price though which is an updated model. HyperX Cloud III is an overpriced failure and if you want to spend a little extra just get a HyperX Revolver 7. So my suggestion is get the alphas, if they seem loud enough to you great-- your good to go. There is a latency section in their reviews the nova and Logitech headsets perform 10ms better than the cloud alpha. So I have had my Cloud Alpha Headphones for a few years and have recently had some weird issues where everything sounded like it was echoing. Hi I bought Cloud Alpha today, all sound settings are %100 but volume is not high enough. I don’t think the wireless is compatible with XBox. Posted by u/the_flying_pussyfoot - 2 votes and 8 comments I had the same issue with my Cloud Alpha S. I can wear my stingers all day with no problem. A sensitivity value of around 85 dB is suitable for quiet environments, while a value of around 90 dB allows for quality listening even in noisy environments. I can't speak for the Cloud Alpha, but I've been using my Cloud II headset most days for the last 4 or 5 years, often for up to 12 hours a day. I'm ideally looking for a good headset that will also work good with PS5. Penrose did sound great but have awful wireless connectivity issues and hurt my head after like half an hour. 5mm broke and 2 other just stopped working. The cloud 2 is generally considered to be slightly more physically comfortable but the alpha isn’t too far behind it. I find it more comfortable than the normal cloud (I've not owned a cloud 2). The general consensus seems to be that either V-shaped or Bassy signatures are more immersive for single-player story-focused games vs neutral/analytical so that knocks out the Cloud 3 if that specific genre is your main focus, I personally think the Alpha S is irrelevant because it’s just the Alpha with Bass sliders, and I feel like even the tiniest bit of latency issues can suck you out of HCA - Hypex Cloud Alpha. Not only it has better impedance but better frequency response than any headset in the same price range. E. The Alpha's are working great, though I dunno if they are comfier than my Cloud 1's, but not a big deal haha Blackshark v2 is better in sound quality. Any headset/earbuds I plugged into the DAC had louder volume on the left. Simply put - All headset speakers have an impedance rating in ohms, which represents how difficult the speakers are to power by the device they're plugged into (in this example, your iPad). non wireless Cloud II. sbpuy tzypp uopjth wcq aoi vjwe vmahb igjm nlrv ytdg
